As of January 29, 2007, we are no long accepting new Computational Biology students.
All current students must complete their Certificate requirements no later than 3 years after their admission to the program (per the original program requirements) or by the end of the Spring 2009 semester (May 2009), whichever is sooner.
CCB leads efforts for new degree options in computational biology at all levels. To bridge current undergraduate education with graduate study and new job opportunities, CCB created the Certificate in Computational Biology.
| The programs listed below involve the coordinated efforts by CCB,which was made possible by a grant from the Colorado Institute of Technology. |
|---|
This is only the beginning. Our vision is the emergence of a new field of computational life sciences in which biosciences, computer & information sciences, and mathematics are at the core.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
The certificate program may be taken as a stand alone program or in conjunction with a graduate degree program. Students are encouraged to enroll in both a degree program and the Certificate program for the following reason:
If enrolled in just the Certificate program, a student is considered a non-degree student. As such, if the student then applies to graduate school, only 6 credit hours from the certificate program will be transferred to an advanced degree program.
